After graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce degree with Honours from Ryerson University in Toronto in 1997, a six year tenure with the two largest international Chartered Accountant firms in Canada provided me with the opportunity to develop the knowlege and business skills demanded of some of Canada's largest and most successful businesses.
During a four-year tenure as an auditor with the Real Estate Advisory Services Group of KPMG in the financial district of Toronto, I had the opportunity to develop an in-depth understanding of commercial tenancy leasing while auditing some of Canada's largest real estate companies including Cadillac Fairview, OMERS Realty Corp., Oxford Properties and Brookfield Properties. This experience now allows me to offer very specialized services to clients who enter negotiations for new or renewing existing leases with their landlords to ensure their tenancy rights are fully protected..."rights" that are often overlooked by the small business owner until it is too late!
In 2002, Niagara Tax Services was opened offering services to clients with a more personalized approach. As an owner-operator of a small business myself, I understand and appreciate the needs of my clients and am highly motivated to provide services of the highest standard not readily available to small business owners. My client-focused approach to dealings with clients has enabled me to develop my own business simultaneously with those of my business clients.
In 2008, an office was opened in the Bay of Quinte area. In late 2008 a virtual office for clients residing in Toronto also commenced operations.
To better service clients in the greater Niagara Peninsula, a second office in downtown St Catharines is expected to open in February 2012.
